We are so excited about our time with you at Long Live Mentoring … July 24-26 cannot get here soon enough!  Many of you are finishing your travel plans for Long Live Mentoring 2014 and we wanted to pass along a few helpful tips:

Summaries & Schedules ::


Summary:: Intensive practical mentoring Q / A Sessions with mentor leaders - designed for the person who is or wants to be in mentor leadership. 

Schedule:: Practitioner Day registration opens at 9:15 am and we start collective learning at 10:00 am.  Break for lunch on your own at 12:30 pm and resume at 2:00 pm.  Resume time together until 5:00 pm.


Summary:: VERY Limited Seating. Exclusive experience, up close and personal dinner with several of our Long Live Mentoring storytellers and roof top concert by Sony Records / Provident Label Group artists PawnShop kings. PawnShop kings were named one of "10 New Artists You Need to Know" by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Schedule:: Party starts at 7:00 pm.  Get ready to vibe on the roof of Packard's New American Kitchen.  

MAIN CONFERENCE (Friday - Saturday, July 25-26):: 

Summary:: Two Days of Heart and Soul - be inspired, equipped and ready to leave as a better mentor - "a quiet hero of the movement."  Our storytellers are not bringing the usual presentations - they are sharing raw and honest life. Sharing deep about who guided and impacted them. Think: less TEDSx talks, more Kevin Durant MVP Speech. This will be an inside peek of life transformation, all thanks to caring mentors.

Schedule:: Registration opens at 8:00 am and the main conference starts at 9:00 am both mornings. We will break for lunch on your own at 12:00 pm and resume at 1:30 pm each mid-day.  All conference activities will conclude by 4:30 pm on Saturday.

Where to Hang Your Hat ::

There are so many options of where to stay in OKC that there is a place just right for every style and budget.  We do not have any official conference hotels, but we think the following options will move your search in the right direction… as you are searching remember that The Mentoring Project has rented out Frontline Church as our conference venue - Frontline is located in midtown/downtown OKC at 1104 North Robinson Avenue Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

SWANKY - Skirvin Hilton Hotel - ballpark price per night (around $180) - major win: lovely hotel within the heart of downtown OKC, Thunder fan? Cool - you'll be really close to Chesapeake Arena

ALMOST NEXT DOOR - The Ambassador OKC - brand-new hotel clocking in at .4 miles from the venue (around $190), this is your option is your happy feet like walking, plus it's next door to Waffle Champion (aka best breakfast in town)

ROOMMATE FRIENDLY - Homewood Suites - ballpark price per night ($139) - major win: nestled on the edge of Bricktown, the renaissance spark in OKC

DRIVE A FEW MINUTES - Best Western Saddleback Inn - ballpark price per night ($116) - if you have access to a car, you can drive about 9 miles and save your green for the conference book table

JUST THE BASICS - Econo Lodge - ballpark price per night ($59) - major win: you are going to be hanging out the whole time anyway, spend your money on food carts, coffee and pedi-cabs

ADVENTURE OPTION - Airbnb - prices are all over the place - major win: choose your own adventure, man
